The meeting will be held in person from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Lindstrom City Hall, 13292 Sylvan Ave., Lindstrom. Attendees will have an opportunity to share feedback and ask questions of the study team. There is no formal presentation and the public is invited to stop by anytime.
If members of the public are unable to attend the meeting, they can provide feedback using an online comment map until Sunday, Oct. 27. For more information about this study, or to sign up for email updates, visit talk.dot.state.mn.us/hwy-8-chisago-taylorsfalls.
MnDOT started this study in August 2024 to understand what needs and opportunities exist in the study area to inform future projects along the highway, including a pavement resurfacing project planned for 2032. This study will look at ideas to improve vehicle safety and mobility, access management as well as safety and connectivity for people walking, biking, and rolling along and across the roadway.
MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all. If you need an ASL, foreign language interpreter, or other reasonable accommodation, or need documents in an alternative format (such as braille or large print), please email your request to [email protected] or call 651-366-4720.
