Public open house July 29 for Highway 14 Eagle Lake Corridor Study
MANKATO, Minn. – The public is invited to attend an open house on Monday, July 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Eagle Lake City Hall, 705 Parkway Avenue, to provide input on the future of Highway 14 through Eagle Lake.
There is no formal presentation planned, and attendees are welcome to arrive at any time to talk with the study team, ask questions, and share feedback. Those unable to attend the meeting can visit the study website to review information, provide comments on an interactive map, and take an online survey.
The Mankato/North Mankato Area Planning Organization (MAPO), MnDOT, and local partners are studying the Highway 14 corridor between Blue Earth County Road 12 and Highway 60. The study is currently evaluating the existing conditions and identifying issues throughout the corridor. Study goals include developing a long-term vision for the roadway that considers improvements for safety and access while supporting economic growth and user needs.
