MnDOT to host March 28 public meeting for Interstate 94 Oakdale to Lakeland construction project

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will host a March 28 public meeting to share an overview on what the public can expect during the final year of construction on Interstate 94 Oakdale to Lakeland. The public meeting is from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 28 at Woodbury City Hall at 8301 Valley Creek Road.

There will be no formal presentation at this open house-style meeting. People are invited to stop by at their convenience anytime during the meeting and the project team will be available to answer questions.

Crews will resume construction on I-94 between Highway 120/Century Avenue to the St. Croix River in April (weather and schedule permitting). Motorists will have at least two travel lanes in both directions between Highway 120/Century Avenue and Woodbury Drive through fall 2024. However, they can expect delays and impacts to roads, ramps, and interchanges throughout the project area, including the I-94/I-494/I-694 interchange in Oakdale and the I-94/Highway 95 interchange in Lakeland.

Community members who cannot attend the meeting in person can view a construction overview video on the project webpage, mndot.gov/metro/projects/i94oakdale-stcroix, in the weeks following the event.

MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all people in their programs, services and activities. If you need an ASL, a foreign language interpreter, or documents in an alternative format (such as braille, large print or in a different language) at no cost, please email your request to Janet Miller at [email protected] or call 651-366-4720. Relay service: 711.
