MnDOT invites public input on Hwy 78 corridor study from Perham through Ottertail
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is currently seeking the public’s input on a corridor study of Highway 78 from Perham through Ottertail. The study is evaluating the needs and safety of both motorized and non-motorized users along Highway 78, from Highway 10 in Perham through the city of Ottertail to Wagon Trail Loop near Otter Tail Lake. Additionally, the study includes an evaluation of intersection safety and pedestrian connections and accessibility.
MnDOT is seeking input from all transportation users, including those who drive, walk, bike, or use recreational vehicles (i.e., UTVs, ATVs, snowmobiles, etc.) along the corridor. The public can share their experiences via an online survey on the study website. The survey will be open until Nov. 30, 2023, and can be taken using a phone, tablet or computer. The input collected will be used to better understand issues and needs along this route.
For more information about the study and to learn how to take the survey, please visit the study website at mndot.gov/d4/projects/hwy78.
MnDOT invites and encourages participation by all. If you need an ASL, foreign language interpreter, or other reasonable accommodation, or need documents in an alternative format (such as braille or large print), please email your request to Janet Miller at [email protected] or call 651-366-4720.
